The Pickerington North girls 4x400-meter relay team made school history at the OHSAA State Track and Field Championships, winning the Division I state championship in a new school-record time of 3:48.83.
The championship quartet of Mya Clark, Ava Dinovo, Paris Williamson, and Layla Wilson delivered a remarkable performance on Ohio's biggest stage, becoming the first female athletes in Pickerington North history to win a state title at the state track meet.
Their time of 3:48.83 shattered the previous school record and secured a memorable victory that will forever be remembered in Panther athletics history.
Alternates Chanah West and Kendall Simpson also played an important role throughout the season and contributed to the team's championship run.
The historic accomplishment is a testament to the dedication, perseverance, and teamwork displayed by the athletes and coaching staff throughout the year. Their victory not only brought home a state championship but also established a legacy that will inspire future generations of Pickerington North athletes.
For the first time in school history, a group of Panther girls stood atop the podium as state champions—and they did it in record-breaking fashion.
